Built on a foundation of more than 2,500 years, the role of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), is notably prominent in nurturing women's health & healing. The concept of TCM healing has been widely favoured in the recent years for its holistic understanding of the body.

It is vital for the body as it is responsible for the digestion of food, which releases various enzymes and protects the lower intestines from harmful organisms. The stomach is also connected to the esophagus above and to the small intestine below. It is also intricately related to the pancreas, spleen and the liver.

Mild conditions such as headaches/migraines are usually caused by the contraction of muscles between the head and the neck. A migraine, in comparison, ranges from moderate to very severe conditions such as stroke (when there is poor blood flow to the brain, resulting in cell death.) There are two main types of stroke, one being due to the lack of blood flow and another which is due to bleeding.

APPOINTMENT FORM

We make sure all our patients feel welcome, safe, and taken care of. During your first visit, our TCM physician Zhang Shu Wen (张淑文医师) will review your condition and medical history. For diagnosis, 4 basic methods of diagnosis is used in the assessments, including questioning, observing, auscultation and palpation. From there, the doctor will explain the issues and advice the options for treatment.
